Symbolise the wise mens gifts
I am creating a nativity scence for some kids and need things that would represent or symbolise the gifts of Gold, Frankincense & Myrrh… Any ideas?

Frankincense was valued for it’s sweet smell, so either potpourri or some incense candles.
Myrrh was an oil that was typically added to baths or used as a perfume. Hit up a Bath and Body Works and pick out something you like.
Gold is, well, gold. I’d use a ring or necklace and then WATCH THAT JEWELRY to make sure none of the kids run off with it.

I was actually in charge of a nativity a few days ago and I actually went to the dollar store and found some really cool stuff to dress up the wisemen plus little gifts for them to hold. Look around there. You’ll find stuff.

Potpourri, baby oil, and spray paint a brick metallic gold.
